  1. liberty jane would be even better if they posted more hoe to’s on youtube especially ones on shoes.

  2. Olivia B /

Liberty jane would be even better if they opened a store and sold mass copies of designs, You’d make millions!!! hahah!!!!!

    Also, you forgot yesterday’s results

  3. Valerie /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they (honestly you guys are doing an amazing job) I can’t think of anything that they could do better.
Oh and you did not mention who the winner was from yesterdays draw!

  4. Liberty Jane would be even better if the fit of the clothes were not quite so tight! But I realize that’s just my opinion for things for a “10 year old” doll. =)

  5. Kirren /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold discounts on patterns for different dolls together (instead of a pattern being $3.99 for one doll, it could be $5.99 and fit all dolls – but still keep the $3.99 patterns too)

  6. Katrina /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more shoe patterns/instructions for AG dolls!

  7. Mary Stewart /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered themed group patterns like Summer, Winter, Fall, Autumn, Christmas, Valentines. That way we could have a variety of outfits for event.

  8. Wow!!! This is a hard one…you guys are so awesome already. I guess I will have to go with more of my favorite part.

Liberty Jane Clothing would be even better if they had even more patterns.

Although I already have plenty to keep me busy at the rate you are putting out patterns now.

    Thank You
    Andrea Jene

  9. Katherine /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they added a discount for multiple pattern purchase (buy 3 get one free, etc).

  10. VickiT /

I’d love to see tutorials on the blog more. I know you are trying to sell patterns but some of us just cannot spend money that often because we cannot work. I do think you are doing an awesome job and other than that, can’t think of anything more unless it were to be start selling in the stores too.

  11. Emily Henry /

Liberty Jane would be even better if you posted more how to’s. Even though you guys are already doing and AWSOME job!

  12. Liese Brouwer /

Liberty Jane would be even better if… this is hard… you are amazing… It would be great if you become published… I would be first in line for the printed Design Academy book! Even a coffee table book full of photos of all your clothes… I love finding photos of all the designs you have done in the past…

  13. Liberty Jane would be even better if like others have said had more shoe patterns like the knee high fringe boots or espadrilles at ‘dollclothespatterns.net’. I can’t afford her reasonable prices either but would really like to make those types of shoes.

  14. Candy Lacy /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had even more American Girl size patterns. Definitely more of a good thing, although you have the best patterns available!!!

  15. Tessa Gunnell /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold full outfit patterns, like a pants pattern with a shirt pattern at a bit of a discount.

  16. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more how-tos and more pictures of pattern variations. I love the pictures at the end of guide books, more would be awesome! You guys are great, thanks!

  17. Liberty Jane would be even better if they would post more how-to videos or tutorials..so some of us who can’t seem to get the front pockets on the jeans pattern to work right…could maybe figure out a few things. Really, I can’t think of anything you could do to make it better…You have covered a lot of bases. Thanks for all you do, and the missions work you are doing to help those in need. You are an inspiration. Blessings

  18. (Oh Please oh Please.. I really want to win this one!!)

Liberty Jane would be even better if they posted more finished outfit pictures. In other words, showing the patterns made up in different fabrics.

(And forgive me if you already do this somewhere, I’m a complete newbie and so I’m not sure I’ve discovered all the site features yet)

  19. Lindsey S. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they were able to show the production process for pattern-making. I’ve tried it multiple times, and it’s a very tricky thing!

  20. Molly F. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made more clothes to sell, at set prices.

  21. Katie Stack /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made cheaper stuff. All of your stuff is amazing but all of your really cute AG doll outfits on eBay cost so much so I can’t buy them. But LJC does make the best doll clothes!

  22. Well, I’m brand new(today!) to your site and haven’t found much wrong yet, but I would like to see a nightdress pattern for girl and doll.

  23. Liberty Jane would be even better if the patterns magically made themselves while I slept at night! Love everything you do, just don’t find much time to sew these days. :)

  24. Liberty Jane would be even better if they made patterns with more pieces to them. For example, you have one pattern for jeans and that’s it. Why not a pattern with top(s) and bottom(s) together?

  25. Marlain Beaudette /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more variations in the patterns. Like multiple sleeves or necklines in a single pattern.

  26. Heather /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold less expensive shoes.

  27. Kiara Green /

Liberty Jane would be better if they had sara posting blogs again I miss her!!

  28. Tricia /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more historical patterns especially from time periods which AG doesn’t cover.

  29. liberty Jane would be even better if they extended there clothing line and maybe even sell there own dolls. it would be really cool to have a liberty Jane doll!

  30. Renee Adams /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had some more of everything. That’s the best I can do as you are doing a marvelous job!!

  31. Rachel Pence /

liberty Jane would be better if they offered more blouses. Like fancy and not fancy. I would like too see more techniques within the patterns because we can’t all afford the design academy.
I agree with Tricia more historical outfits like the early 1800′s.

  32. Liberty Jane would be even better if … Cinnamon and Jason lived next door to me. I’d love to drop in for coffee and “accidentally” see sketches and works in progress. Road trip, anyone? I’ll bring the coffee cake.
    Joan

  33. Liberty Jane would be even better if they (according to my daughter) had hair accessory patterns. But I’d love to see some boots, someday.

  34. Liberty Jane would be even better if they…sold the book about doll clothing design. I was so excited to see the prototype in the giveaway! I’m eager for this idea to come to life. I also think the website for purchasing is not so easy to navigate, but I don’t have any ideas for improving that.

  35. Liberty Jane would be even better if…they sold more separates at set prices.

  36. Oj, wow! I’m a newbie here so I can’t think of anything that Liberty Jane would be better if…..
However, I read many of the previous suggestions from those who are more experienced, and there are some good ideas. The one about the clothes being tight is sometihng that’s important because little girls, and Nana’s that have hand problems need a little help! vbg
    Thankd!

  37. LibertyJane would be even better if they made questions like this one easier – can’t think of how you could be better even though I know there’s “always room for improvement”. Keep up the great work.

  38. Sharon /

Liberty Jane would be better, they couldn’t be any better!

  39. Jadie S. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold more ready made clothes and shoes.

  40. Jenny C /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more in their lines that were buy it now’s on their website! I think it would be really cool if you sold, say, 25 outfits (mostly complete- could not include shoes or something) for 40-60 dollars. While it might not bring in as much money for you, it would help people who can’t get your spectacular ebay outfits!

I love your patterns! I wish I could win this; it’s a GREAT giveaway! :)

  41. Elaine /

Even grandma’s like myself love Liberty Jane patterns. They work up well even for an old Home Economics teacher.LOL

  42. Liberty Jane would be better if… I love the Liberty Jane Patterns, But I would love to see more variation packs like the t-shirt pack. To make several different things from each pattern. I have built variations for many of the patterns but it would be nice to have more options with more of the patterns.

  43. Amber Shebesta /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they just keep on doing what they are doing! You guys do a fabulous job with making everything!

  44. Jennifer /

Liberty Jane would be better if there was a program where if you purchase a certain number of patterns (over time, not all at once), you could receive a free pattern. But really, Liberty Jane is already pretty terrific!!

  45. liberty jane would be even better if they sold more separate clothing other then that liberty jane rules

  46. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had pattern collections and released LJ brand patterns more frequently. They are the most versatile patterns and I buy them as quickly as they’re released but I usually have to wait about a month for a new LJ brand pattern to be released.

  47. Liberty Jane would be better if they sold more clothes on there website I feel like you can’t buy that many clothes there.

  48. Carol Greenbank /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more shoe and accessories patterns. Love your patterns keep up the good work.

  49. Liberty Jane would be better if they included the pattern for the complete outfit pictured. I have hunted for some of the pieces pictured and they aren’t available anywhere on the website. I think it would just be easier if the patterns they sold were a complete outfit. I would pay a little more for them, but not much as $4 a pattern is pretty high considering you can purchase patterns with 10+ pieces from anywhere from $4 to $16.

  50. Liberty Jane would be better if they offered a discount for multiple pattern purchases

  51. Bronwyn /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they published a book about making doll clothes. Please? :D

  52. Liberty jane would be better if they offered more clothes for sale, and at a little cheaper price. Sorry not every one is employed righ now.

Also would love to see a photo gallery on the site of the finished work. People could submit pictures of their work for the patterns and that way others could get ideas of fabrics and colors.

  53. Diane Brimmer /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they…They revamped the instructions or at least show step by step videos. I have also tried the patterns a few times, little tricky.” I feel really bad saying there is something wrong with your site when it has been so awesome and you have been so generious with free patterns and such great Giveaways. So forgive me for being critical of anything!

  54. Danielle /

Liberty Jane would be better if there were package deals on patterns. :)

  55. Diana Lacy /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a discount for 3 or more patterns. But the patterns are great and I love the videos. Keep up the great work!

  56. Michelle Taylor /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they gave just a little more instructions.”

  57. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more historical (molly, esp) patterns!

  58. Rachel /

Liberty jane would be even better if you had more free patterns, furniture and doll clothing to sell not make and make patterns/ sell stuff for stuff that the dolls pets might use.

    • Rachel /

And more patterns for some furniture like bedding, beds, wardrobe and patterns for shoes and stuff thats made out of wood.

      • Rachel /

I forgot to write more patterns for historacal characters and patterns for wood stuff thats all thanks Liberty Jane U rock

  59. Hollea /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they…were to offer patterns for making boots, shoes, other accessories like skis, tennis racquet etc, Also patterns to make our own wardrobe closets, beds, bedding etc. That would make it awesome cause you could then make everything you want and it would be less expensive for those who cannot afford a lot of stuff but their girls and their dolls do not have to do without. Your site is awesome. Thanks

  60. akimbo /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more blog tutorials and styling ideas. But I love you already!

  61. Jessica /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they gave away a free outfit just for the holidays.”

  62. Samantha /

Hmmmm…Hard one! Liberty Jane Clothing would be better if they did more how to video’s on the blog or youtube!!

  63. Agree with everyone..site is wonderful. Would enjoy the package deals on patterns and tutorials also.
Thanks for all the great free patterns!

  64. Emmalee /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they… wow, this is hard– all of your stuff is already so awesome! ;) But it would be seriously cool if you made small summer and winter lines to augment your big spring and fall releases. Maybe just two different outfits each. Hehe, I just like looking at all your new designs! ^_^

Also, I’d like to see more possible variations (or at least pictures of them) included with patterns. I love how the Faraway Downs dress can be made into a skirt, and the new pattern for Aspen’s Party Dress has a gorgeous bubble skirt option, so it’d be awesome to see the same amount of flexibility for other designs even if the differences are simple. For example, I’d love to see pictures of a button-up variation of the Oxford Square Jacket included in the guidebook with a few tips for stitching on buttons.

Another thing: it would be really cool if you made packages with the patterns you used to make certain outfits. They’d be the same price as they would be if you were to purchase them separately, but the packages would also include a few extra helpful tips. For example, a package for Cortina Couture could include tips on how to tie-dye and make the necklace included with the outfit.

  65. Dana Nichols /

Liberty Jane would be even more awesome than they already are if they had more patterns and how to videos. :)

  66. Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold some more cute separates in the shop and they made more of their own designs, and made more videos about how to make the outfits!

  67. sharon /

I really can’t think of much that would make you better, except maybe more variations included with each pattern. For instance if a pattern included a whole outfit instead of having to purchase the top pattern separately from the skirt, etc. More American Girl doll patterns would be great too!

  68. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had some patterns that are complete outfits! For those sewers that can’t see the pieces in your other patterns this would be a great help. How about links to places were you can buy doll sized sewing notions?

  69. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more patterns for shoes and boots.

  70. Jaimie /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold their clothing and patterns in stores such as Target or Walmart. Liberty Jane would also be better if they distributed a catalogue to homes to view new patterns.

  71. Karen T /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they..had different variations of out fit a pattern.neck line or sleeves

  72. Maggie /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they… honestly you guys are doing a fantastic job!! I had to think long and hard about this one, but here goes. … had more shoes patterns, and here is an idea, whenever someone buys a pattern, send them a link to get a video tutorial. That way it will be easier for people if they come to a hard spot!!

  73. Carol W. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if …I vote for more shoes and boots too!!

  74. Mindy Turley /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they released the patterns for the outfits they create within a month of the outfits being sold, and release patterns for all pieces of outfits being sold. On facebook they said that the pattern that looks like a maxi dress in orange and purply blue from the spring line would be released that summer, I told my niece I would make one for her when it came out (I was thinking for her bday in July) and now it is xmas…made me sad to disappoint her. Not all of us can afford a $100 outfit for a kid to play with so it’s important to be able to do what we can from the patterns.

  75. Sydney F /

Liberty Jane clothing would be even more awesome if they made some shoe and bag patterns!

  76. Liberty Jane would be better if they give and sell even more fashional patterns and clothes!

  77. Liberty jane would be even better if there were more patterns for Karito Kids! But I still love Liberty Jane just as it is anyway.

  78. Abigail /

Liberty Jane would be better if they had patterns that you could buy shoes from or could make…Ohhh maybe like some slippers you could knit.. Or a hat you could knit, or stuff you could make with old stuff laying around the house.

  79. Marilyn /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had discounts for multiple patterns.

  80. Jeanne /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more accessories to go with their fantastic clothes. :)

  81. Carlee /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made patterns for Bitty Baby/Twins. There are so few patterns out there for the 15 inch dolls that don’t have to be altered to fit that some new designs just for them would be great.

  82. Joanna /

Liberty Jane would be even better if… Lets see here, this is really hard. I already love the site. But i would love more tutorials, maybe some craft projects for the dolls. I would also like more patterns on how to make the shoes you guys do.

  83. Ramona Curtis /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they published new patterns more frequently and maybe listed all the patterns to one outfit in a grouping, for easier searching!

  84. Melissa /

Liberty jane would be even better if thier free patterns rotated and they added new ones for free. that would rock. also i would like to see patterns for a tights and other odds and ends but the site is still great thanks for being there for my family.

  85. Ale Her /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered one or two free patterns every month.

  86. Liberty Jane would be even better if they would develop or pair their doll patterns with patterns for young girls – and encourage young girls to sew more…..such a lost art that need reviving. This is the perfect site to encourage it

  87. Katherine G /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a reward program for pattern buying (like card stores do for example). i have bought many patterns but i rarely have a need to buy 10 at once. so maybe something buy 10 get one free but over time.

  88. Connie /

Liberty Jane’s is awesome. I would like to be
Able to buy patterns for complete outfits but
You are great at showing variations for the
    Patterns

  89. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had something each month or so and give away a pattern or other liberty jane prize to the winner(s). Maybe switch the prize every giveaway? =) Love the site!

  90. Hmm… how the HECK could you be awesomer??? Anyway, Liberty Jane would be even better if you had a pattern for… um… uh… OVERALLS. Sorry, I’m at a loss for words here!
    -charlotte <3

  91. Liesel /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a discounted pattern of the month type club. I would totally subscribe!

    • Jennifer /

Liberty Jane would be even better if there were even more patterns! Love it!

  92. EunJea /

Well…I love liberty jane! it’s already my favorite site, but maybe you could once a month or so post a special video on how to make some sort of project for you doll…=)

  93. Stacey /

Liberty Jane would be even better if you offerred complete outfit patterns. It would also be nice if there was some sort of “rewards” system ( e.g. for every $10 you spend, you receive $1 off your next order). Discounts are always appreciated.

  94. Cheryl Pigott /

Liberty Jane would be even better if??????

Tough question to answer. I enjoy looking through the site every couple days, just to see the new designs and clothing listed in Dollabee. The site design could be a little easier to navigate. Other than that, I find this one of my favorite sites on a consistent basis.

  95. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more tutorials on their website or youtube.

  96. Liberty Jane would be better if they had more free patterns!

  97. Debbie /

This is very hard for me because I am so thankful for Liberty Jane! The only thing I can think of is…Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered a complete outfit like you find in other patterns. Keep it simple, that’s what I love about your patterns! The fit is perfect, I never have to make a “trial run” to see if the pattern will be too big or too small…perfect every time!

  98. Allison taylor /

Liberty jane would be even better if you added accessories!

  99. Celeste D. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more shoes (boots, maybe?) and jeans in their store.

  100. Madison /

Liberty Jane would be better if you had a bunch of shoes patterns!! It would also be better if your had daily sales or $2 patterns!!

  101. Liberty Jane would be even better if they . . . (as mentioned above) released patterns for all the items made in a timely manner. I love the patterns and would never buy a pre-made outfit. I have bought many patterns already and intend to buy more. I love the buy more, get some free idea – great for repeat buyers. I love the idea of patterns for boots (been trying to make my own). Most of all, I really love the ability to make fashionable doll clothes for my girls, eventually teaching them to sew themselves, and you are the best resource for that out there! Keep up the great work! PS: Still waiting for pattern for the hooded fur-lined vest! :)

  102. I think Liberty Jane would be better if the website had activities, games, or simple crafts!! That would be fun!! Games that are like the ones on basilmento’s blog!!

  103. Rebecca /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they… offered pattern sets for a discount? ex: buy a 3 specific patterns and get ….idk… a $1 off? =]

  104. Catherine /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more separates for purchase in their online store :)

  105. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had patterns for complete outfits.

  106. Kate Anderson /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they…had more outfits available for purchase! I would love to get my hands on a few of your outfits, but I’m always in the wrong place at the wrong time, or I’ll get sniped at last second… :) Love your business!

  107. Liberty Jane patterns would be better if more patterns had more than one item, such as more with variations, more as sets–such as pants or skirts with shirts, or volume discounts (a little off if you buy more than one pattern). Just keep making patterns. They are so cute!

  108. liberty jane would be even better if they sold all the outfits and constantly made them with other fabrics that are most likley worn on famous people

    • like cece and rocky from shake it up for example some of the clothes they wear are nice and fashiony

  109. Megann H /

Liberty Jane would be better if I could buy them in a book! I would love more variations/options for each pattern

  110. Victoria Hassink /

This is s tough one! Liberty Jane would be even better if they referenced the items one the pattern photos, for example, when I am purchasing a skirt pattern and there is an adorable top that is shown in the photo, I would like to buy the top pattern as well, but can’t always figure out which one it is. So the skirt photo might say “as shown with Trendy Tank pattern”.
Thanks for all the great stuff!

  111. Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered a pattern line just for ONB, Bitty Baby, and Bitty Twins. I just found my first Bitty in a thrift store today, and she needs clothes! You guys do an amazing job! Keep up the good work!!

  112. Becky s. /

Liberty Jane would be better if they had more contests on YouTube

  113. Christian /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they did more video how to’s of their patterns. And made more shoe patterns! But as it is.. it is a great store!

  114. Liberty Jane would be even better if they wow! This is really super hard… You are already amazing! But like I have seen some people write, I think it would be super nice if you could somehow make a pattern for boots (like those boots on the leggings pattern, or just any boots pattern).

But like I said above, you are already amazing! What with giving us 12 days of pure bliss!! (even though I haven’t won anything, and I don’t think I will, I have really bad luck. I never win anything! :P)

    Thanks so much!! :D

  115. OH! And it would also be nice if you could do competitions not on youtube or facebook, I don’t have either, but I really-super want to join in the fun!! :)

  116. Julia Moore /

Liberty Jane would be even he better if more people were to post pictures of the clothes they make from the patterns.

  117. Rhiannon /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made a gallery to showcase things made with their patterns. Sometimes I have trouble picturing a piece of clothing in a fabric other than the one shown in the instructions. Also, I would like to see a continuation of the recent expansions into patterns for more types of dolls and patterns to make different things. I would really love a stuffed animal/ pet pattern. Especially a dog!

  118. Liberty jane is pretty great but could be even better by adding some matching girl and doll sets maybe and some whole outfit packages.

  119. Liberty Jane would be better if they picked me for this drawing! I love all the patterns- love the way the clothes fit. So much more trendy than something from the big 4 patterns. Seriously, you make a great product.

  120. Kirstin /

Wow there have been some great suggestions! I think Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered patterns for all of their ebay outfits shortly after all of the outfits are sold.

  121. Liberty Jane would be better if they make adorable animal hats for ag dolls or a pattern for it!

  122. Judy Witzel /

Liberty Jane would be better if there were more tutorials. I am a better visual learner than a “reading” learner. To actually see something being done is much easier to follow.

  123. Ann Burkle /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they added to their line of patterns, patterns for MIM dolls. http://www.mimtoy.com/

  124. luciekat /

Liberty Jane would be even better if you just keep up all the great work you’ve been doing! Honestly.

  125. Shoshana /

liberty jane would be even better if they sold more shoes

  126. autumn /

Liberty Jane would be better if they sold patterens that have a complete outfit

  127. Liberty Jane would be even better if they created a section for pattern buyers to upload pictures of their finished outfits created from LJ patterns. If there already is this option I did not see it. Otherwise, how do you improve on perfection? Keep up the good work. Your web site is like a mall with so many options. Love it ! :o)

  128. Liberty Jane would be even better if they made some more patterns (i would <3 free but 3.99$ is a good price to,) did more design contests with doll prizes (i <3 those!) and most importantly just kept doing what your doing! <3 u guys!

  129. Atume-Beth /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they, asked questions like this a year long and if they went outside the box and kept askinging there costumers for advice on clothing. Also I’m not sure if they already do this but I havent seen it….they should sell girl sized patterns too so girls can match there dolls!:)

  130. Daphne H. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they more patterns that were a complete outfit.

  131. Liberty Jane would be better if they had more BFC Ink patterns instead of American Girl.

  132. Laurie /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a forum where customers could post pictures of their finished creations, and talk about ideas! I would love to see how others are using the patterns!

  133. taylor smith /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more accessories patterns

  134. Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold a book (or Books) of their patterns. I’ve purchased other publications with some hesitation as to whether the garments fit the dolls. I’d buy yours in a heartbeat because I know they fit, the patterns are tested and the instructions are complete. Love the designs, outfits and quality. Keep on designing. Also I’d like to purchase several patterns but ten could run me out of printer ink. Maybe buy 5 get one free? Just a thought.

  135. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had patterns for shoes and accessories.

  136. Korina Murray /

We are new to Liberty Jane patterns, but I’m looking forward to spending alot of quality time with my daughter while we sew patterns together!

    thank you so much!

  137. Abigail /

Liberty Jane would be better if they had a line off pattern books at our local Joann’s stores

Liberty Jane would be even better if the patterns were already available for the outfits you had limited editions on ebay. Loved them!!!!
    Valarie

  139. Jana Leonard /

I have to jump on the shoes and accessories bandwagon, but I really am impressed by all that you do now!

  140. Liberty Jane would be better if they sold more shoes! xD I love your outfits and patterns, but I’m always looking for shoes! I’m really interested in getting some high tops and knee high lace ups for my dolls. Maybe on your website you could have a section…..?

  141. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had one pattern for free that usualy isn’t one time each a month, or week;)
    -lissie

  142. Laura Kemner /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they gave more tips on choosing the right fabric to make our dolls outfits look like something our girls would want to wear.

  143. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a design wall… not sure if its even possible but it would be cool! …like some fabric websites have a wall where you can put your favorite fabric swatches to move around and coordinate prints.. on a Liberty Jane design wall you could put a top skirt pants jacket on the wall to move around and mix and match outfits …interactive designs!

  144. I love the patterns, they are easy to follow.

Liberty jane would be even better if they had special on their patterns like buy two get one free.

  145. Liberty Jane could not be any better! What a sweet and wonderful sight I feel I have stumbled upon, and I am all the way happy with it. I have only made one kind of dress from here, however, it was easy enough for me, so I love it! Thanks

  146. Joan D /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had people share where to find supplies to make the doll clothes and the accessories. Ideas could be fabric, small buttons, ribbon, fold over elastic, sparkle elastic, sliders for belts, etc. Keep those patterns coming. They are so modern and cute.

  147. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more shoes and boot patterns. I’ve seen some cute boots on Etsy that are being handmade and can’t find any good patterns.

  148. Emily4leafclover609 /

-This was extremely hard to do xP-

Liberty Jane would be even better if they. . . Made how-to videos again! {like Libby used to, shower, bed, etc.} It really helped my doll room!:D

    {Personally, I think LJC is absolutely perfect how it is. . . but if i had to say something thats it xD}

  149. Sofia l. /

LibertyJane would be better if you made tutorials on how to make the shoes and share a little bit more about you personal lives so we don’t feel like we are total strangers we feel like we know you a little bit more. :)

  150. Amelia.W /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they have something like Christmas sales on pattern and etc because I am pretty sure a lot of people would like to buy LJC things for there niece, granddaughter, daughters and etc

  151. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had one new pattern every week for AGs. hey you can’t get to much of a good thing!

  152. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had even more original historical patterns covering all the characters’ time periods. I love the modern patterns too, of course, but my historical girls are very… well, shall we say… persuasive. It would also be nice if you had a gallery of photos of finished outfits made with your patterns, perhaps submitted by customers?

    Thank you!

  153. Miranda W. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made patterns for the Hearts 4 Hearts dolls and Disney Princess 18″ dolls. But you’re doing great! Keep the patterns and all your fantastic work coming! :)

  154. Anna H /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered patterns for shoes!

  155. Cynthia D /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered patterns for doll undergarments, especially historical ones! AG has retired many of their undegarment collections (Felicity’s corset and pocket hoops, Samantha’s garters and slips, Addy’s hoopskirt, etc), and many of the older dresses really do need the undies to shape them. it’s easy enough to find bloomer patterns, but what if about corsets and bustles? I’d also love to see more historical clothes NOT inspired by AG eras (renaissance gowns, Russian folk costumes, dirndles, etc…)

  156. Liberty Jane patterns are terrific! Here’s my two cents for improvement, since you’re aiming even higher:

    1. Always show the patterns made up in a variety of fabrics, colors, variations, etc. Variations are inspirational!

    2. Include sleeve and neckline variations for dresses, tops, etc. (Or put a tutorial on the web showing how to do it.)

    3. My most wished for feature: please, I’d love to see notions/resources listed for published patterns. For example, I’d love to know where to purchase the tiny “D” rings for the Faraway Downs dress…list a place to find the tiny grommets for the corset…the interesting clasp for the belt on the “Get the Look” pattern…even places where the material used in an outfit could be found, if desired…well, you get the general idea. I think it would be great if the resources were listed with the patterns, as well as listing them together on your website. .

Thank you! You already have an A++ :)

  157. Heather B /

Loberty Jane would be even better with more tutorials on the blog! Just recently discovered your patterns and am loving them!

  158. Kristana /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more historical patterns. Not just for the time periods of the AG’s, but older times as well, like medieval.

  159. Ruth W /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they…could make me look as good as my dolls!

  160. Jackie Friest /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they made patterns for Bitty Baby/Twins. The commercial patterns out there fit terrible.

  161. Rhonda /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had patterns for clothes from other cultures. I personally would love a pattern for a sari, a kimono, and an Irish high stepping costume.

  162. Kaylah /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a few supper easy patterns for first time little (10yo) seamstresses. Also like others have mentioned patterns from other time periods-Ancient Greece, Southern Bell, and ancient Egypt.

  163. Peggy G /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had new patterns come out faster.

  164. Vanessa /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered their patterns at a local store (I like to touch and feel)

  165. Marlene /

Theme is it “time to teach your daughter to sew”. Many are trying to teach themselves. So many different dolls that are 18 but the arms, chest, waist are different. I would like to see more details on where to measure your doll to achieve the same look as the photo. Is the bodice empire, long waisted…. where should it be on your doll. Types of fabrics to use with good results for that pattern thin poly or a heavy wedding satin. More adjust the
pattern to to your doll then cut and sew.

  166. Cynthia S /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they..had “how to” videos and show resources where to buy the fabric and accessories used in the patterns.

  167. Adrianne Bouche /

This is a hard one because overall I have been very happy with Liberty Jane. But I sew a lot, so Liberty Jane would be better if they offered a new pattern every week. Oh and maybe more patterns for girls. Thanks!

  168. Alice Love /

Liberty Jane would be even better of they made more free patterns and If they can realease more shoe patterns.

  169. Liberty Jane would be even better if: this is a hard one. You all are pretty great already. There are such a wide variety of pattern designers, offering reasonable patterns, on your site. Knowing how great communication is, with you, I know if there was something I’d like to see (within the realm of what your company is about)in a pattern, you would try to find a way to make it happen. Someone said they’d like to see patterns for some of the historical outfits Pleasant Company didn’t get a chance to publish. I second that. With the economy the way it is, and so many historical on the secondary market or tlc. It would be nice to make historical outfits for them. Addy’s stilting outfit, Molly’s route 66 outfit, and tennis outfit, anything for Rebecca. Also, could you pass the word out, more crochet for AG. I love that you offer knit patterns and some crochet.

  170. Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered patterns for under clothes. My granddaughter got Josefina and her long bloomers just don’t work under modern clothes.

  171. Chris Walden /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more crochet patterns!

  172. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more shoe and accessory patterns as well as maybe having a poll on what new patterns people are interested in. Other than that, you guys are awesome!

  173. MeAndMyDollStudios /

Liberty Jane clothing company is very hard to
Find flaws because everything is already perfect But I think liberty Jane
Should make/get more outfits and shoes to sell but still keep the
Patterns because there is always outfits I want
To make but I never have time so it would be more
    Convenient.

  174. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had their own line of 18″ dolls =)

  175. Liberty Jane would be better if it carried more shoes and could teach me how to sew knits without a serger. ^__^

  176. Karen H /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they could allow users to post pics of there finished item, to give examples. :)

  177. Sydney /

If there were more patterns with a child size too!
Or more Historical outfits for American Girl Dolls!

  178. Charity /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they released all their Seasonal outfits as patterns maybe on a set date after all are sold…like 1-2 months later after the last item is sold…Many of us cannot afford the eBay Liberty Jane releases as much as we’d like them and eagerly await the patterns…It seems like some are put out rather quickly and others are maybe never put out or just coming later? I too would like to see more variation with the patterns that we get…maybe instead of 1 skirt, there could be optional layers or styles to make it more versatile…Also….please help with accessories! Would love some how-to’s on accessories or even more accessory patterns! Keep up the great work! I love your patterns and your site!

  179. Jennifer /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they… Well I think you’re great just the way you are!! but maybe offer coupons or discounts every once in a while.

  180. Caitlin /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold more BIN outfits at lower prices. Regardless, the company and designs are still great! I just can’t win an auction to save my life.

  181. Debbie A. /

This site is really great, but I would like to see entire outfit patterns, such as skirt and top/ pant and tops or jackets. You all do a really good job and thank you!

  182. beccaabug /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they… would have patterns as whole outfits.

  183. Josie Smith /

Liberty Jane would even be better if they offered special pattern pricing to email subscribers a few times a year that didn’t require a purchase of 10 patterns to get, since many subcribers already own most of the patterns. :)

  184. Hmmm how LJ could be better. Maybe if each pattern came with a cleaning fairy so I could sew more.

  185. SE Bowser /

Liberty Jane would be better if they had more shoe and boot patterns . . . but I like what you have now!

  186. Dana Ronevich /

I am fairly new to Liberty Jane. I love the contemporary patterns. It is nice to be able to sew clothes that young girls wear today. I am a history & movie buff, so I would love to see patterns copied from Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, or Vivien Leigh movie roles or personal style. As for history, Anne Bolyen, Marie Antoinette, Elizabeth Bennett from Pride & Prejudice.
Give us links to great sellers of shoes, socks, tights etc. Things that are reasonably priced.
Tips on sewing with different fabrics. I would like to see an ebook, not on you tube. Best tips on sewing with satin or knits. How to embellish doll fashions.
Free patterns after 5 purchased ones.
Keep doing what you are doing…just keep adding to the line….LOVE IT!!!

  187. Jeneca /

Liberty Jane would be better if sold more separates and made more how-to videos on how to make the outfits on youtube. :3

  188. Christine /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they whould just kept the new design patterns coming so I can keep sewing more clothes, maybe before the new Trendy season started” I would like to get a head start on the outfits for the seson does, just like the retail stores do, 3-4 months before the season. Maybe with the help with your new in, we will soon the new trendy sooner?

  189. Liberty Jane would be better if they offered more of the BFC, Ink patterns, although I have been able to adjust most of the AG patterns to fit this smaller petite doll. Some patterns for shoes and boots would also be helpful for this size doll. I really am impressed with your partner program and am looking forward to adding a few of my ideas (as soon as I get all the kinks worked out!). Thank you so much for all your hard work and the time you put into your blog and website.

  190. Firinel /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they offered more accessory patterns, especially some that had more pieces or variations for the $3.99 cost.

  191. Shawna /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they could release one new pattern a week. I really enjoy getting new patterns to sew.

  192. Libert jane would be even better if they… You guys are so great that I’m very happy with what you do now!!!

  193. Liberty Jane would be even better if…..Honestly I can’t think of anything. I really love using your patterns and the only thing I can think of is I wish all the other pattern designers sold through Liberty Jane were as easy to understand and as descriptive as the true Liberty Jane Patterns.
    Thanks so much!

  194. Liberty Jane would be better if I could sew & knit faster.lol I’d also like to see more accessories offered with your designs…example perhaps a bag or hat with a dress …..underwear..?

  195. Louann /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they, How do you improve on perfection? Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold or had a link to the awesome shoes and boots that are on the dolls in their patterns and pictures. Or sold the patterns if they are made by Liberty Jane.

  196. Liberty jane would be even better if they made a shoe pattern :)

  197. Monica /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more Ellowyne Patterns.

  198. Ginger /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they… either sold the items needed for sewing like snaps, zippers, etc…or gave us a list of resources of where to purchase them.”

  199. Abigail /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they… have more tutorials or how to videos because they really help me and guide me since I’m just learning to sew” I loved the one that libby did for the swim suit.

  200. Sara Koch /

Liberty Jane woud be even better if you ran a deal where you could get all the pieces for a pictured outfit together in one guidebook for a special price.

  201. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had the same pattern to fit multiple dolls in one package. I can’t really afford to buy the same pattern twice. Ag and BFc ink

  202. Becky P /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they opened a store!

  203. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had me design some patterns for them! Oh, wait, I learned it from Cinnamon already! Guess, they are great already.

  204. Marjory W. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if the separates patterns were also combined into complete outfits for a little more money. But, really, Liberty Jane is really good as is.

  205. Liberty Jane clothing would be better if they made more how to videos on youtube :)
But they are already amazing so..

  206. sierra /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more free how tos and also furniture patterns for sale!! :)

  207. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had furniture and maybe even their own doll!

  208. Liberty Jane would be even better if they would sell more accessories. Okay, this was really hard for me to think up because I think you guys are already doing an amazing job!!! Love your patterns and all the support you give your partners.

  209. Diana payne /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had a place for us to submit pattern ideas/requests.

  210. Lauren /

Liberty Jane would be better if they sold patterns for accessories and at a lower price than their regular patterns!

  211. Donna Boyd /

    Halloween costumes!

  212. Liberty Jane would be even better if they sold more patterns for coats, padded vests, hats, underwear and complete outfits. More look books showcasing your fab outfits with designs/patterns made up in alternative fabrics/accessories would be really exciting.

  213. Liberty Jane would be even better if they released more patterns for accessories like purses, belts, hats, shoes, scarves, jewelry.

  214. Linda Hedelund /

“Liberty Jane would be even better if they… did a buy one get one 50% off day – like the shoe store bogo.
    Linda

  215. Leah B. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they had patterns for shoes. Thanks

  216. Gail Kimball /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they could offer some more Historically Accurate patterns for the looked over dolls such as Kaya(r) and Josephina(r).

    However, your company totally rocks!!

  217. Liberty Jane would be even better…if they had some realy simple patterns for the beginning sewer, such as 6 and 7 year olds.maybe a skirt with one seam and a rolled waist. Things like that. my granddaughter is 6 and she wants to start sewing.

  218. Liberty Jane would be even better if they had more how to sew videos on you tube.

  219. As far as I am concerned, Liberty Jane would be pretty hard to beat but I would love to have patterns for shoes, boots and slippers.

  220. Liberty Jane would be even better if they opened a store in every state now that would be cool or if they get more shoes would be cool too!

  221. Liberty Jane would be even better if….how could they get better….unless they picked my name for this prize !!!!!

  222. liberty jane would be better if they made benner videos

  223. Holly T. /

Liberty Jane would be even better if they released priced their patterns for doll accessories such as headbands lower.

  224. Holly T. /

    (let me try that again:)

Liberty Jane would be even better if they released patterns for doll accessories such as headbands, scarves, and shoes.

  225. Enee Miller /

Liberty Jane would be even better if……they could have some 18″ Boy Doll clothes… and is there more 18″ boy dolls out there now….My girl dolls would like to have them as friends….

  226. Hhhhmmm, this is so hard but I would say to give a few hints in successfully photographing our completed garments!

  227. Emmy Ziegler /

Liberty Jane could be better if they would host an actual sit down sewing retreat/workshops where people could attend for a couple of days and make nothing but outfits out of Liberty Jane patterns, with the assistance of instructors! Many of us are not expert sewers but still want to make our doll clothes as professional looking as possible! It would be so much fun to sew and share with people who have the same interests!

  228. Liberty jane would be better if the had youtube videos for clothing patterns :o)

  229. Liberty Jane would be even better if their website was a little more newbie friendly. :) I’d like to search for just coats or just shirts, etc.

    • Cinnamon & Team /

Hi Amy, We actually have category text in the grey bar at the top of the website. Unfortunately it does not show up when using Internet explorer 8 or newer. If you use a different internet browser , like google chrome or firefox you can see all of the categories. Hope this helps :)

      Cinnamon

  230. Liberty Jane would be better if you could make more clothing pieces from a pattern pack. ( A whole outfit)
