Hi everyone,

Welcome to Day 11 of our 12 Days Of Christmas celebration!

We have had so much fun with this celebration of giveaways! It looks like you’ve all been having a great time too… SInce we had such a great response to the shoe giveaway on day 6 we decided to do it again, but bigger and better this time!

So, Today we are giving away … 11 pairs of doll shoes to one lucky winner!

Giveaway includes: Red, yellow, and blue tennis shoes; Silver,orange, white criss cross, and white bow sandals; white and black flip flops; and Gold and Silver slip on flats!

      I have made a Cinderella dress, a Snow white dress, and an Aurora dress. I make a matching Halloween costume for my daughter and her doll every year.

      I’d love to see Liberty Jane create a collection of hat patterns, representing a variety of time periods, to go with the historical and current day fashion patterns offered for 18 inch American Girl dolls. Hats would complete the outfits, make them distinctive, and be the perfect complement for the shoes (which I LOVE!)!! That would be AMAZING — a “total package.”

    I would like to see more clothing that represent different occupations (doctor, police, astronaut, scientist, etc) as patterns for American Girl/Our Generation dolls.

    • What a great idea! It reinforces the qualities of all those charms and all the characteristics we want to see in our own human American Girls.

  12. I woul love to see a swimsuit, cover- up, floppy hat, flip flop sandal bundle. Swimsuits appear in the SoCal department stores in the spring, so why not follow “suit”! Lol!!!!

  37. I’d love to see a pattern for babydoll PJ’s that were popular in the early 60′s for the AGs. They were light weight summery, short sleeved, yoked with the sleeves and body gathered onto the yoke. The bottmos were short with elastic at the waist and at the legs. sometime the yoke was embellished with cute little embroidery designs.

    I would like to see a complete ski ensemble–ski jacket with ribbing cuffs and hemline, detachable hood (using gripper snaps would be good), and a pair of bib style zip up the front ski pants. Naturally mittens to complete the outfit. I would like this made for the American Girl 18″ doll size. (Not asking much, am I? I improvised an outfit like this, but a great fitting pattern to make a nice fitting outfit would be soooo much better–thank you.)

    I would LOVE to see a winter snowsuit combo (jacket/pants/boots) as a pattern for AG dolls. I would like it to be a trendy “board type” suit with regular snowboots, not ski boots. Too much to ask? LOL.

    I’d like to see a complete cool weather (spring or Fall) pattern for American giirl Felicity and Elizabeth.It should include a short cape(let), one piece dress, mob or lap-eared cap and apron. Remember, no pantelettes. Girls had bare bottoms until the advent of hoop dresses.

    I read all the comments thus far and I also would like to see some princess type dress patterns, the little girls just love those. I also get lots of requests for girl scout uniforms, it would be cool to come up with a how too for making the patches on the uniforms.     My girls and I have had so much fun thinking of all the cute outfit for an AG dool, but we have fallen in love with some of the dolls in the Ellowyne Wilde collection. Two of my grils are ‘steam punk girls’. WE would love to see more patterns for the Wilde collection and more steam punk in general.

  121. Well there are lots of great suggestions here. I am so pleased with all my patterns and don’t really know what to ask for.
    Maybe a cheerleader suit. I used v neck tee and very short Julie’s long skirt to make one. Used 3 colors of bias tape fused with iron on tape to make trim. Customer loved it.

Maybe videos of Cinnamon’s tips and tricks on sewing with knit fabrics (as I am fighting with how to get my T-shirts to look professional) and how to sew the faux fly on the jeans pattern. I love all the patterns and ideas Liberty Jane comes up with. They seem to be trendy and right on with what I have seen in the stores. You guys have about 3 or 4 outfits for those dolls, but one thing I love about Liberty Jane is they are great about having new and hip outfits, Id love for them to do that with the bitty babys and twins. Both of my children, my son and daughter, each got a set of twins for Christas and couldnt find anything too origanal. Thank you

    I would love to see some more in the “pet line” ie: beds, leashes, collars, booties, coats, guide dog coats… Also, Coco Channel, “Audrey Hepburn” style clothing. My little niece has just gotten a Josefina doll for Christmas (such a sweet faced doll) and she would LOVE historical patterns for her. I have made several costumes for the AG dolls as we have studied different Ancient Times in History…I have a simple Egyptian dress, Mesopotamian Robe, Grecian Robe that can double as a Roman and am currently working on China. I think it would be easy and splendid for you to put out an Ancient Pattern line! Cinnamon, I LOVE every pattern and would buy them all if I could! You are VERY gifted, and thanks for the bright 12 Days of Christmas you have given to us all!

    • Agreed! Bitty baby clothes patterns would be a nice addition, I buy build a bear clothes and sew up the tail holes but it’s not a perfect fit like the Liberty Jane clothes I’ve made the 18 inch AG doll.

    My granddaughter has just received an 18 inch doll for Christmas, but it is the Canadian Maplelea doll and I have now been told that there are some differences in the sizes to the AG dolls. Apparently the feet are a fraction bigger, is this so? Because I would just love to win these adorable shoes for her to go with the clothes that I will now be making since I have found this site. If anyone can advise me, I would be very grateful, as am just about to start sewing and knitting ;o)

    I would love to see a pattern that is a set made for 18″ dolls. Like a shirt that has several options to change the look of the same shirt, or a skirt in one pattern that starts with the basic pattern and you chnge the bottom edging and have 4 or 5 looks, just an idea.

    Can’t believe I missed this – well, actually, I can, I’ve had all 4 granddaughters around for the holidays and just haven’t read emails. All 4 have (almost) 18 in dolls – the youngest will receive hers for her birthday at the end of January. 11 pairs of shoes would have been divided among the 4 “dancing fairy butterfly princesses” and Grandma been with it enough to even have a chance to win!!
    Your patterns are just what I needed for my little sweethearts – I can see from today’s (actually – yesterday’s) that I will be ordering more shortly!!

    I missed the contest on this, but I wanted to chime in on things I’d like to see in patterns: I’d like to see Bitty Baby and Twins patterns. It’s hard to find cute patterns for these dolls that actually fit AND show some creativity. My customers want more variety.
