Day 6: Our Favorite Christmas Cookies
Dec 06
Hi everyone,
Welcome to Day 6 of our 12 Days Of Christmas celebration!
Today we thought we’d mix it up a bit and share with you a secret family recipe for the most amazing chocolate chip cookies you’ve ever eaten! I mean seriously, these are so good you’ll never go back to ordinary chocolate chip cookies again!
My kids love the christmas themed version, using M&M’s brand chocolate candies for the Holidays. For Christmas we’ve used red and green, but we’ve also done pastels at Easter, and used Reese’s Pieces at Halloween. I haven’t seen a blue and white package for Hanukkah, but that would be so cool! I might have to look into special ordering those colors for our Hanukkah dinner on the 20th.
The recipe is pictured below. You can click the little icon at the bottom of the post, the second from the right, to go to a print friendly page version. Or you can just click the image and print it on it’s own. I hope you enjoy this special treat and have very many yummy holiday celebrations!
Happy Holidays,
Cinnamon, & The Liberty Jane Team

In a hurry? Forget the baking sheets make it into a Bar Cookie! Grease a 9×13 pyrex baking dish and fill with dough. Lightly press the dough to level edge to edge. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes. Light brown just like your normal cookie. Check with toothpick and it comes out clean. Got this one off the mini chocolate chip bag years ago.
