Welcome to Day 12 of our 12 Days Of Christmas celebration!
Today we are giving away … 12 patterns to 12 separate winners! Each winner can custom select 12 patterns from the Liberty Jane Collection and they will be mailed to you on a cd. You will have until January 31,2012 to make your selection, so any of the new LJC patterns that are released before then can also be included in your prize. Pictured below is a collection of LJC patterns currently available for purchase.

When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online; I shop at Joann’s primarily and then Hobby Lobby if I can not find an independent shop.
I have to admit that I don’t shop online for sewing supplies because I am a touch-y feel-y kind of sewer!! I love to go to the fabric store — I have to touch every piece of fabric possible, however; I have been known to use ‘scrapbooking ribbon’ for my projects and my favorite online scrapbooking site is Club Scrap (clubscrap.com) Sometimes, when I have ‘sewer’s block’ I even have used their monthly kit colors as a guide to choosing fabrics for my projects….
I’m anxious to break out the fabric and to start sewing these adorable outfits for my granddaughter, just like my grandmother sewed clothes for my Toni doll!
When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online my favorite place is Hobby Lobby for some notions and I try smaller quilting shops for vintage style fabrics.

When I shop for patterns online I come to liberty Jane For notions I often check out etsy or ebay depending on what I am looking for. My favorite part of the 12 days of christmas was reading over the comments and seeing the amount of people that like your patterns and clothing.
When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online; I shop at fabric.com! I also used to shop at tinyzippers.com for doll-sized zippers but that site no longer exists; now there’s Zipperthatdoll.com (from which I have also purchased).
I don’t shop for findings online much (but I buy all my AG doll patterns from LJC now!)
My favorite part of the twelve days has been just seeing what different looks people manage to get out of the various patterns. Just seeing everyone else’s work gives me inspiration to do my own.

When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online; I shop at both JoAnn Fabrics, etsy, and ebay depending on what I’m looking for… Modern and sale items on JoAnn, vintage fabrics and patterns on etsy, and renaissance patterns and extras on ebay. I sew a bit of everything, and can never seem to find everything all in one place :o).
I shop eBay and Hancock Fabrics when. I can. Usually when I need something there is no time to wait. I am so sad that I got into the 12 days of Christmas late :(. This was such a wonderful way to share our love of sewing and dolls!! God bless you all and Merry Christmas!

When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online my favorite place is resale shops! They have a great variety of styles and fabrics–think vintage. If you talk to the staff they will sometimes save you the unsalable stuff just for the buttons and notions!

When shopping online for notions, I usually head to joanns.com. In real life, I’m pretty lucky. I live in NYC, so I love to go to Sixth Ave and hit up all the fun, quirky notions stores. You can find some amazing buttons and vintage notions there!
When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online my favorite place is ebay. You can get a deal and some one of a kind items there and it’s always different. JoAnn Fabrics and Hancocks are good to keep an eye on too. And of course 2nd hand shops and the pricey quilt/sewing stores. Just keep your eyes open and you’ll find treasure almost everywhere.

My favorite part of the 12 Days Celebration was… Oh it is so hard to decide. I love the Starbucks offer, The American doll dress form was awesome, I just loved the patterns and I loved the Boots. So I guess I would have to say ” All of it.”
I also don’t shop for notions online. I have a lot of big fabric stores nearby. I have been buying fabric at Fabric Depot.com. They have great sales on cotton! Oh, I generally buy my patterns online, LOVE epatterns!

I shop on ebay and buy all my patterns from LJC. I have enjoyed seeing all the different outfits eveyone else makes. I have gotten lots of inspirations!

When shopping for fabric online, I love http://www.fabric.com, and locally I love Pacific Fabrics in Seattle and of course Joann’s for all their fabulous coupons!
When I shop for sewing accessories, I usually go to etsy. Although most the time I am a brick and mortar shopper. I want everything instantly.
I shop for sewing supplies in various places online. If I need mass amounts of fabric, I do a buy through a co-op. Or from fabric.com and their great coupons! Notions I get from Joanns, and trims and smaller amounts of fabrics from etsy! (LOVE etsy!)

Mine was seeing what it was each day, it was super exciting! Even if I never won anything.
When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online; I shop at Friends of Cloth Dolls (FOCD) has an online store in conjunction with their “Crafty College.” I buy a lot of patterns and notions there. Also, many members of FOCD have their own websites with periodic specials and giveaways. Of course, my favorite, no ONLY place for A.G. and Ellowyne patterns is Liberty Jane for sure!

I don’t shop for fabrics and notions online. I like to support the local fabric store in my neighbourhood. My favourite part of the 12 Days Celebration was reading everyone comments. Everyone is so very creative. Although I don’t get a lot of time to sew, it is a fabulous hobby.

I made 6 t-shirts for the girls to decorate for their AG dolls and it was a big hit. Great idea today, the fabrics you use make all the difference. Fabrics: Joanns, thrift stores (I can find gorgeous wools from men’s suits) M&L Fabrics (a wonderful independent store nearby), and my very favorite if I’m visiting Portland: the awesome Fabric Depot:)
Notions: Fabric Barn (an independent store with almost wholesale prices), Joanns with a coupon, Michael’s with a coupon, TLC Doll Hospital for buckles etc., E-Bay for buckles

I am sad that I came late to this 12 days party! I am just getting into the 18″ doll market, having just purchased my first doll for my first grandaughter, age 3. l I am looking forward to making all kinds of fun clothes for her. Love the Liberty Jane patterns!! Merry Christmas all!!!

My favorite part of the 12 days of Christmas was see how much interest there is out there in doll clothes. I may start making and selling them too. I have been waiting patiently for my 7 year old granddaughter to want an AG doll instead of Cabbage Patch babies and this is the year!!! I sewed AG clothes for my oldest granddaughter, who is now 18, when she was little. I’m really glad that I found this website. Merry Christmas everyone!!

When shopping online for notions, I use zipperthatdoll.com for zippers (obviously!). I use joanns.com to get fabric and trims. I love using vintage stuff in my projects, so I often use old buttons I got from my grandmother or fabric I cut from old clothes I find at thrift stores.

I can get a torn or stained prom dress for $2 that makes several OOAK outfits for the girls in my life. Not only that, but I feel so utterly prideful in my talents and thriftiness.(Don’t tell anyone how prideful I am!)

I do try to buy many easily available notions locally, however, so I get the best match to my fabric and support local businesses, but I save considerable money purchasing thread in bulk.

Liberty Jane’s unique patterns and everyone’s creativity has really stimulated my own designing ideas. I am so addicted now.

These include individual ebay seller stores, etsy stores, and direct websites. I subscribe to several sewing magazines so they are always providing new links to explore. Lots of opportunities for browsing!

I am often doing last minute projects that require emergency supplies which, if I’m lucky, I find at a local quilt shop, Hancock Fabrics, or Ben Franklin. Reading through the above comments has given me lots of ideas for shopping online, though.
I was inspired by the pictures of the Holiday Shimmer outfit. As the official dressmaker to my niece’s dolls, I think that I will be making some velvet jeans.

I live in a rural area and so online shopping makes it so I can get fabrics. Although, I much prefer to feel fabrics before I buy them and see the colors in person, but that is not always possible. A friend lives in Raleigh and we spent three days visiting the textile area of North and South Carolina.

As you can see I don’t live close to a big fabric store so I love how easy it is to order on line.

I find lots of notions etc on ebay. I also like to shop around my local thrift stores, and clearance store racks…. people clothes make great doll clothes! You can reuse buttons, embelishments etc from those on your doll items as well.

The thing I like most about the 12 days of Christmas is the way you feel about those who buy the patterns or comment. Some sites may do a special or say “Thank You”, buy you went much further. Getting into the spirt of the holiday and giving back so much. Thank you for all you do.

When shopping for notions, I shop at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby. When looking for fabric, I prefer to head to Salvation Army or my daughter’s closet! Your website has inspired me to upcycle unusual fabrics into super fun outfits for my dd’s American Girl dolls. I started upcycling my daughter’s outgrown Gymboree dresses into super cute outfits she remembers loving on herself. It’s an inexpensive way to sew! In fact, for Christmas I found several pair of funky doll boots online and have used those as my inspiration for turning outgrown dresses and t’shirts into adorable outfits using the patterns I bought on Liberty Jane’s website. I’m finding how much fun creating doll “couture” can be! Love Liberty Jane patterns!

I am fortunate to live near a few craft/fabric stores (Michaels, Joann etc., and Hobby Lobby) so most of my sewing notions come from one of them. I do, however use Hairbow Center for my various ribbons, trims, etc. They have a large selection of ribbon in all widths.

However, thanks to Cinnamon, links she has provided, and her Pinterest site, I am learning about such sites as lucysbuckles, My Doll’s Life (zippers, buttons), and more. I read another comment and I too have to admit that I am a hands on kind of gal. I can “see” my project come together when the bit and pieces are in my hands. I love the liberty jane patterns and have even made some of my own because there just wasn’t what I wanted out there. AG doll are just the right size to design new clothing.

They have a nice selection of small items and Tiny Zippers carries the lightweight velco in black and white that I love to use. Makes the clothes less bulky. I don’t usually shop for sewing supplies online but when I do it is usually ebay. In town I shop several
different stores. Joanns, Michaels, Mulqueens and SAS fabrics. I have always been afraid to buy material online.
I love shopping for fabric on ebay. One of my favorite sellers is Lycra4sale they have a 10 lb box of lycra prints that give you an endless supply of fabric that is great for swimsuits, tanks, t-shirts and leggings. I usually buy my notions from JoAnn’s but also get things at HomeSew. I love doing fabric searches, it has lead me to find loads of great fabrics from a variety of sites and I love it when Cinnamon lets us in on some of her favorite places to shop for fabrics.
I have never shopped for fabric or notions online, mostly because I live in Canada and shipping can get ridiculous!

My favorite part of the 12 Days Celebration was the anticipation each day of coming back here and checking to see what each gift was. It was the challenge of seeing who would win these lovely gifts and see if I would be one of the lucky winners and even if I wasn’t a winner, feeling so excited for the person who did win. When shopping for notions, fabrics, and sewing supplies online; I shop at fabric.com ( Very creative fabrics there) and I reuse cute old shirts or patterns on skirts that we have it home. Joann.com is also a great local store that has lots of fabrics for someone who wants to start sewing or designing clothes. Thanks!
The 12 days was fun and ecstatic. I enjoyed it even though I didn’t win or enter. I just watched, Cinnamon is a giving person and generous to hold this contest for children, collectors, and adults. When I shop for notions,fabrics and not sewing supplies(I get all me sewing supplies from my beloved grandmother) I shop at Spotlight (It is a shop in Singapore)…I just love the fabrics there.And every time I shop there,my mom would have to spend about $40 there each time we go!! (hehehe)And by the way,I love your shop,it is just so facool (mix of fabulous and cool) HAhaha!!!! Bye

My girls and I totally love turning unwanted clothing into cool fashions (with Liberty Jane’s patterns) into cool fashions for Ava & Iva (our AE friends)! <3 <3
